The ECPSA2-0, part of B&R Automation's ECP Series, is a robust dual-axis controller module ideal for industrial automation applications demanding precise speed control and rapid acceleration. Utilizing an 8031 controller, it operates with a pulse frequency range of 25Hz to 20kHz and acceleration times from 60 milliseconds to 17 seconds. Compact in size (2.5 cm x 22.9 cm x 12.7 cm) and weighing just 0.2 kg, it fits well in confined spaces. Compatible with MULTI, MIDI, and M264 racks, it supports absolute, relative, start at trigger pulse, and endless positioning. Equipped with three 15-pin D-type connectors, it ensures stable connections and meets NEMA 1.5 kV and VDE 0843 guidelines for reliability. Inputs include end, reference, and trigger switches with built-in protection for short circuits and overloads. Its relay output supports up to 30V/1A, and an internal varistor safeguards against damage, making it a key component in automation systems.
