The Eaton EEA-PAM-523-D-32 power amplifier, sold under the Vickers brand, is a robust part of Eaton's D series. With the potential to replace two standard electronic cards, the unit features an inbuilt ramp generator, command input ramps, and an integrated PID module. Its Eurocard-style design facilitates quick installation, and the amplifier carries a CE Certification, suitable for global deployment via dependable delivery partners. Despite bearing similarities to the manufacturer's A series, it falls short of the A series' gain factor; it compensates for this with an analog feedback sensor interface. The device, primarily utilized in closed-loop pressure control applications with proportional pressure valves, boasts minimal external wiring and a user-configurable PID feed-forward operation. Additionally, the amplifier comprises nine configurable DIL switches, input current range from 0mA-20mA or 4mA-20mA, a 24VDC input power supply, and an indicator LED for enabled ramps. Compatible with KDG5V-5/7/8 and K*G4V-3 valves with H coils, the amplifier also incorporates a 6-kilo Ohm feed-forward input impedance and short circuit-protected analog output feedback signal. An alarm signal activates at a peak current rating of 50mA.
