The Beckhoff EJ6224-0090 from the EJ EtherCAT Plugins series is an EtherCAT plug-in module providing four IO-Link interfaces compliant with IO-Link Version V1.1 for streamlined integration of sensors and actuators. It supports flexible data transfer rates of 4.8/38.4/230.4 kbaud, operates on a 24 V DC supply via the E-bus with a typical current consumption of 110 mA and a device supply current of 500 mA per device, and accommodates cable lengths up to 20 m. Designed for industrial environments, it features an operating temperature range of -25…+60 °C, storage temperature of -40…+85 °C, protection rating IP20, shock and vibration resistance per EN 60068-2-27/-6, and EMC immunity/emission according to EN 61000-6-2/-6-4. Weighing approximately 30 g, this compact, 3-wire connection module also incorporates TwinSAFE SC and IO-Link configuration & sensor scan for advanced safety and diagnostics.
