The EK1101-0000 from Beckhoff supports 100 Mbit/s data rate and features a ≤1 µs communication delay. Part of the EK EtherCAT Couplers, it spans up to 100 m and handles 65,534 EtherCAT terminals. This coupler uses shielded Cat.5 Ethernet cable and draws a base current of 70 mA.

It supplies up to 2 A E-bus current at –25 to +55 °C and drops to 1 A at 55 °C. Two M8 shielded bus interfaces ensure reliable connectivity. Its 24 V DC power contact rating and IP20 protection suit industrial automation.
