The EK1521-0000 is an EtherCAT coupler manufactured by Beckhoff in the EK EtherCAT Couplers series, providing a 1-port junction with a SC Duplex socket. It supports the EtherCAT protocol, consumes 350 mA on the E-bus, weighs 65 g, and uses single-mode glass fiber for 100 Mbit/s data transfer up to 20,000 m with a 1 µs delay and IP20 protection.
