The EK1914 EtherCAT Coupler is a compact product from Beckhoff Automation GmBH. This device features six digital inputs/outputs, two fail-safe inputs/outputs, and operates with a fault response time equivalent to its watchdog time. Using the EtherCAT communication protocol, the coupler can accommodate single or dual-wire connections.
