The Beckhoff EK1960-0000 is a compact, yet versatile controller equipped with 20 digital inputs and 24 secure digital outputs. It operates as a standalone unit or can connect with other controllers via an EtherCAT connector. Its capabilities are expandable with almost all EL/ES terminals. It includes an EtherCAT RJ45 connector as a standard feature, but also offers an M8 option, alongside three address selectors and Uniports for streamlined operation. Functioning with a cycle time around 1 ms, it has a parametrizable fault response time. It should be installed horizontally and boasts an IP 20 protection class. Capable of processing 16 or 32-bit pulse analog signals, it transfers data to logic via EtherCAT signal ensuring data plausibility. It's part of a modular I/O terminal system, easily integrated with existing systems through a bus coupler, and supports secure data transmission via TwinSAFE SC technology.
