The EL2872 module from Beckhoff's EL EtherCAT Terminals series uses flat-ribbon cable connection for simplified wiring. It offers 16 outputs at 24 V DC, supports ohmic, inductive, and lamp loads, and delivers 0.5 A per channel. The terminal features reverse voltage protection, 500 V E-bus isolation, and 60 µs on/300 µs off switching. It mounts on a 35 mm DIN rail and consumes 130 mA from the E-bus in an IP20 polycarbonate housing.
