The EL5001 is an EtherCAT terminal manufactured by Beckhoff as part of the EL EtherCAT Terminals series. This single-channel module provides RS422 differential input/output and supplies a 24 V DC encoder operating voltage. Typical E-bus current consumption is 120 mA with 20 mA on power contacts. Data transfer rates are adjustable up to 1 MHz (250 kHz default). It supports distributed clocks, operates between -25 to +60 °C, and complies with industrial EMC standards.
