The EL5032 is a dual-channel encoder interface terminal from Beckhoff’s EL EtherCAT Terminals series. It operates on 24 V DC and supports encoder connections (D+, D-, C+, C-) with up to 48-bit resolution and distributed clocks. It provides 5 V or 9 V DC encoder supply at 0.5 A, features diagnostics, zero-offset storage, cable length compensation up to 100 m, temperature measurement, speed calculation, parameter read/write and reset functions.
