Beckhoff's EL6002 EtherCAT Terminal is a robust, function-packed and cost-efficient solution for motion control, automation and I/O systems. Suited for extensive machine construction and plant engineering applications, this terminal operates efficiently between -25 and +60 degrees Celsius. The power for its operation is supplied via the E-bus and it has a negligible weight of 55g. Its high immunity to EMC coupled with a superior resistance to shocks and vibrations, adhering to global standards, broadens its operating environment range. The EL6002, employing D-sub technology and with no line impedance, is designed to shield against solid object penetration up to 12mm, enhancing its durability. With an easy configuration process requiring no address setting, and a moderate E-bus consumption of only 170 mA current, this terminal also allows the connection with two RS232 interfaces. An additional Virtual Serial COM Driver license is also available.
