The EL6021-0021 from Beckhoff features an RS422/RS485 interface and a data buffer of 864 bytes receive and 128 bytes transmit. Part of the EL EtherCAT Terminals series, it offers IP20 protection and supports twisted-pair cable lengths up to approximately 1000 meters.

With data transfer rates ranging from 2400 to 115200 baud, a typical current consumption of 170 mA via the E-bus and a line impedance of 120 Ω. It operates reliably from -25 to +60 °C and weighs approximately 55 g.
