The Beckhoff EL6090 display terminal utilizes an illuminated, low-glare LC display with capacity for two 16-character lines to showcase diagnostics or status updates. Key features include a navigation switch and status display, which relay binary variables to control the display. Compatibility is with Ethernet connections conforming to CAt5 standards within a 100m EtherCAT device range. Inputs operate via four navigation buttons and can accommodate two 5 x 8 pixel special characters. With a weight of approx. 70g, a 24mm housing and 80mA E-bus power consumption, it offers IP20-class protection and requires an IP54-compliant terminal box or control cabinet. Operating conditions range between 0-55 degrees Celsius, while it can withstand storage temperatures of -25 to +85 degrees Celsius. Mounting is facilitated by using DIN rail TH 35-7.5 or 35-15, ensuring the connection surface faces forward with proper ventilation provided from below.
