The Beckhoff EL6601 product is an Ethernet switch terminal designed for the integration of distributed Ethernet devices within an industrial setting. This terminal facilitates collision-free communication between EtherCAT network devices, with no need for configuration. The device features a single 10BASE-T/ 100BASE-TX Ethernet port and provides automatic detection of crossed lines and baud rate. The EL6601 operates efficiently within a temperature range of -25 to 60 degrees Celsius, with a storage temperature range of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. Additionally, the terminal displays operational statuses including Run and Ethernet error through an LED interface. Its power source is the E-bus with an average current consumption of 310 mA and it offers 500 V isolation between the E-bus and IP 20 Ethernet connections. The device supports network variables and is designed to operate optimally in an environment with a non-condensing relative humidity of up to 95%.
