The Beckhoff EL6632 is a high-functioning PROFINET IRT controller designed for robust industrial operations. It effectively transforms a PC-based control system into a PROFINET IO controller using a Beckhoff TwinCAT supplement for optimal interfacing. Moreover, the terminal can interface between PROFINET and EtherCAT networks, acting as a controller for PROFINET and a slave for EtherCAT. This device is equipped with status LEDs for easy monitoring and troubleshooting, and it supports a maximum of 15 PROFINET RT devices and 5 PROFINET IRT devices. Network diagnostics are conducted using SNMP or LLDP protocols. The EL6632 is compatible with Windows XP and Windows XP Embedded operating systems, and uses TwinCAT software for operation. The controller boasts a 500 V electrical isolation capacity for optimal safety, and it functions best at a temperature range of 0 to 55 degrees Celsius with a relative humidity of 95% without condensation.
