The EL6690 from Beckhoff features dual EtherCAT ports and an IP20 protection rating. Part of the EL EtherCAT Terminals, it operates at 100 Mbit/s speed, offers 500 V electrical isolation, and consumes 120 mA from the E-bus.
It supports distributed clock synchronization and seamless data exchange via two 100BASE-TX RJ45 interfaces, and mounts on a DIN rail. The terminal weighs approximately 60 g and measures 12×100×68 mm.
