The Beckhoff EL6692 is an EtherCAT bridge terminal designed to facilitate the exchange and synchronization of real-time data between different EtherCAT strands and masters. Powered via an E-bus and featuring an external RJ 45 connector, this terminal supports a maximum process image width of 480 bytes in both directions. The EL6692 is easily configured through the TwinCAT System Manager, is globally shippable, and carries both CE and UL certifications. It ensures uninterrupted data traffic even in the event of a single-side power failure. The terminal offers a maximum cable length of 100m between EtherCAT terminals, and its status LEDs can be used for hardware diagnosis. This robust device operates within a wide temperature range of -25°C to +60°C, and it's resistant to vibration and shock. The EL6692, featuring a watchdog safety function and ADS over EtherCAT, can integrate a subordinate PC to act as an EtherCAT slave.
