The Beckhoff EL6752-0010 is a DeviceNet slave terminal that leverages EtherCAT connection, eliminating the need for PCI slots in the PC. It incorporates innumerable attributes such as error management for each bus device, a variety of I/O modes, and diagnostic interfaces, among others. Sporting Run and status LEDs along with DeviceNet components, this unit offers a single Fieldbus channel and data transfer rates ranging from 125-500 kbaud. Its bus interface relies on an open style 5-pin connector, capable of supporting 63 slaves, with power supplied via the E-bus. Configuration occurs through the TwinCAT System Manager and bears approvals including ATEX and CE. With measurements of 26 mm x 100mm x 52 mm and a weight of at least 70 grams, the terminal's permissible ambient temperatures range from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius for storage and -25 to 60 degrees Celsius for operation (extended range). It is designed for use only by individuals trained in control and automation engineering and should be installed in a terminal box that meets the IP 54 degree of protection.
