Beckhoff's EL7037, part of the ELXXXX EtherCAT Terminal system family, is a compact, modular I/O system with electronic terminal blocks contained within a single enclosure. This terminal, suited for low-performance stepper motors, features adaptable Pulse Width Modular output stages to accommodate varying voltage and current needs. Optimized for use with an AS2000 encoder-integrated stepper motor, the EL7037 uses a direct motor connection methodology, compatible with both uni- and bipolar stepper motor loads. It offers a powered supply via E-bus or power contacts at 24 V DC, with a configurable output for 2-phase, 1-brake stepper motors. Its current controller frequency is approximately 30kHz with maximum step frequencies ranging between 1000 and 16,000 full steps. Additionally, the terminal has a resolution of 5000 positions, electrical isolation of 500V, and an operating temperature range of 0 to 55°C. The EL7037 complies with IP 20, CE, UL standards and meets EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27 regulations for vibration and shock resistance.
