The Beckhoff EL7041 terminal is part of the ELXXXX series EtherCAT Terminals known for their precise I/O channels with 2, 4, 8, or 16 channels available. Offering IP20 protection and accredited by CE and UL, the EL7041 is designed for medium-performance range stepper motors. It operates with a 64-fold micro-stepping step pattern and a 30 kHz current controller frequency. The terminal can output a maximum current of 5.0 A and weighs around 90g. It runs on a 24 V DC supply voltage for electronics and an 8-50 V DC for power. Configured with 2 end position and 1 encoder inputs, the EL7041 delivers output to 1 stepper motor, with a step frequency of up to 8,000 full steps and up to 5,000-position per revolution resolution. It operates at temperatures between 0 and 55°C and resists vibration and shock in compliance with EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27 standards.
