The EL7211-0010 is a servomotor terminal produced by Beckhoff. This high-performance terminal uses a One Cable Technology (OCT) and is primarily designed for the AM8100 series motors. It operates on a closed-loop system, minimizing wiring and enhancing automation via integrated circuits. With its Field-Oriented Current (FOC) feature, the device precisely regulates step and AC motor torque, while its PI speed control manages system errors through a feedback loop. The terminal's I2T model calculates technical constants for increased efficiency and its 16 LEDs function as indicators for ease of use. Its data management is improved with absolute feedback and also features CAN-over-EtherCAT (CoE) and advanced semiconductors. The terminal has a peak output current of 4.5A, relies on a 50V D.C. power supply, and weighs approximately 95g. The device also provides distributed clocks facilities and a 500V electrical isolation enforced by the energy bus, which consumes approximately 120mA.
