The EL7211-9014 EtherCAT Servo Terminal, specially designed for BECKHOFF's AM8100 series synchronous servomotors, allows for torque or speed-oriented motor control. Using its One Cable Technology (OCT), it significantly reduces the cabling necessary for a motion control system. The servo terminal is also user-friendly, automatically identifying the attached motor type and parameters. It is capable of high-speed and dynamic control tasks thanks to PI speed and field-oriented current control technology. Additionally, it ensures system integrity by monitoring parameters such as terminal temperature, motor load, and detecting anomalies like overvoltage or under-voltage. The terminal facilitates EtherCAT communication for user PC control and provides a 16 LED diagnostic panel for warnings, status, and error messages. It offers direct servomotor connectivity via OCT, operates at 1 kHz speed controller frequency, and can supply a current of up to 4.5 A.
