The EL7221-9014 is a servomotor EtherCAT terminal compatible with AM8100 series motors and designed for seamless integration with existing EtherCAT control systems. This device can be easily communicated with and operated via a standard or industrial PC over EtherCAT. Its output current can be increased from 7 amperes to 8 amperes with ZB8610, providing Safe Stop 1 and Safe Torque Off safety options. The terminal supports OCT cables, uses a hard-wired arrangement for implementing STO, and features two inputs for end position respectively, as well as one input each for motor feedback and STO. It aspirationally operates at an input voltage range of 8-48 VDC and has a DC output for the motor brake. The EL7221-9014 terminal reads the electronic type plate for mandatory motor configurations and enables custom alarm settings. It's praised for its compact design and is idea for controlling synchronous three-phase motors.
