The EL9222-5500 from Beckhoff features eight channels and IP20 protection. As part of the EL EtherCAT Terminals series, it supports 24 V DC and a 40 A total current. It offers a 9–32 V DC operating range and mounts on a DIN rail within –25 to +60 °C.

Each channel provides up to 10 A with adjustable settings from 0.5 to 10 A and overload delay. It reacts to short-circuits in under 1 ms and keeps voltage drop below 100 mV. Overload output delay is adjustable from 0.1 to 10 s.
