The EP2308-0000 from Beckhoff features short-circuit proof channels and supports the EtherCAT protocol. Part of the EP Digital Input Modules, it offers 4 inputs and 4 outputs at 24 V DC. It conforms to IP65/66/67 standards and weighs 165 g.

The module uses M8 a-coded connections and handles ohmic, inductive, and lamp loads. It switches in 50 µs on and 100 µs off. With 0.5 A sensor supply and 1.5 A short-circuit current, reliability is assured.
