The EP7041-3102 from Beckhoff supports the EtherCAT protocol and features a protection rating of IP65/66/67. Part of the EP Digital Input Modules, it offers 256-fold microstepping, a step frequency up to 8000 steps/s, and weighs approximately 165 grams.

It integrates two digital inputs, an M12 output port for stepper motor control, and provides encoder resolution of approx. 5000 positions/rev with LED diagnostics. The module operates on a nominal 8-48 V DC supply.
