The ER-MJ-7200D, an absolute position encoder, is a leading-edge product by international motion control and industrial drive systems expert, Okuma. Engineered to enhance precision control of both velocity and position in Okuma's OSP 5000 systems, the ER-MJ-7200D is a critical component in a myriad of industrial machinery such as CNC machining units, motors, lathe machines, drives and human-machine interfaces. The encoder, which can be attached to both upper and lower digit positions, is specifically designed for BL type motors and for hydraulically driven ATC magazines. The device is equipped with an enclosed shaft and an MPR that accommodates a 5 kHz signal. The encoder provides exceptional position control; it completes a full 360-degree rotation every 36 degrees of output shaft rotation. It is suitable for diverse applications, including high-speed turrets and rotary tables.
