The Beckhoff FC5102-0000, part of the FC Lightbus Card Series, is a dual-channel CANopen Lightbus card optimized for PC communication via PCI bus. It supports diverse CANopen network connections with data transfer speeds up to 1000 kbaud. Equipped with two optically isolated fieldbus ports with 9-pin D-sub connectors, it features unscrewable termination resistors for network customization. Each channel has two LEDs for status checks, enabling efficient troubleshooting. The card supports advanced bus monitoring, error management, and load readout, facilitating diagnostics and setup. Capable of handling 3 kbytes of input and output data per channel, it efficiently manages large data volumes. Designed for integration with any PCI slot, it operates in temperatures from 0 to +55 °C, suitable for general industrial environments. The card supports various CANopen PDO communication modes including event-driven and synchronous, and offers SDO communication, EMCY, guarding, and heartbeat functionalities, ensuring seamless synchronization with PC controllers.
