The Beckhoff FC7502 from the FC Lightbus Cards series is a PCI interface card designed for industrial automation, featuring two independent SERCOS II fieldbus channels with support for up to 254 max per channel devices. It delivers user-selectable data transfer rates of 2, 4, 8, or 16 Mbaud via four FSMA connectors (IEC 874-2) and provides hardware diagnostics through 1 LED per channel. The card offers direct DPRAM and register access via a Plug & Play, 32-bit PCI interface with TwinCAT I/O drivers, synchronization capability via ribbon cable, and operates reliably in temperatures from 0–55 °C. Measuring approximately 95 × 120 mm and drawing a typical current of 285 mA from the PCI bus, the FC7502 ensures compact, robust performance in demanding applications.
