The Bosch Rexroth Indramat's FWA-ECODR3-SMT-02V50-D5 is a firmware, especially designed for industrial machine tools. It interacts with ECODRIVE03 drive controllers by Rexroth, which offer interfaces for analog, parallel and SERCOS. This firmware is housed on a separate module that is insertable into the drive, preventing the need to reconfigure replacement drives and speeding up maintenance. The firmware is not included with the drive and must be ordered separately. ECODRIVE03 drives come in 40, 100, and 200 Amps variants, accepting 200 to 480 Volts AC single-phase or three-phase inputs. They output three phases up to 800 Volts at a maximum frequency of 1000 Hertz. Control electronics require an external 24 Volts power supply. The short circuit current rating stands at 42000 Amps. Installation should consider 150mm spacing above and 80mm below the drive for adequate cooling.
