The HCS01.1E-W0018-A-02-B-ET-EC-NN-NN-NN-FW, a product of Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is a HCS series drive converter utilized for drive and motion controls in machine tools and general automation. The device is cooled by an internal air mechanism within a control cabinet that it fits in due to its compact size. Machine installation is supported by a G1 mounting style, which allows natural convection—thereby avoiding overheating—in line with its IP 20 Ingress Protection rating. It operates on switching frequencies of 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz. The drive converter has a multi-encoder interface that allows connection to numerous encoders, with supply voltage ratings of 5V and 12V. It also hosts a control panel featuring diagnostic and warning functions. The HCS drive converter communicates with other system components through its Multi-Ethernet module, enabling integration into various Ethernet field bus systems.
