The HDS02.1-W040N-HS79-01-FW is a cutting-edge drive controller from industry leader Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Part of the HDS series, this servo drive enhances Indramat’s industrial motors, such as the 1MB, 2AD, and MKD models, creating a responsive and accurate drive package for speed and positioning control. A unique feature of this device is its dual-purpose functionality, as it manages both position and speed and the main spindle of motors. Notably, it's cost-effective due to a capped power loss of 110W. Ideal operation occurs between temperatures of 0°C to 45°C, with slight performance derating outside of this range. Lightweight at 8kg, it has adjustable operating frequencies of 4kHz and 8kHz and a peak current of 40A, regardless of frequency. It requires a 40W power supply for signal processing (powered by a 26V source), and features modular construction for adaptable use with appropriate plugin module.
