The HDS02.2-W040N-HS12-01-FW is a module from the esteemed HDS line of DIAX04 drives by the German-American technology firm, Rexroth Indramat Bosch. This versatile drive, with additional software modules, is compatible with both rotary and linear motors. The 6.5 kg base unit is situated at the top of the drive controller, with slots for plug-in modules. With a current rating of 40 amperes and a power rating of 20 watts, the drive has a built-in blower to combat its power dissipation of 125 watts. It is connected to the AC motor through power and feedback cables. Notably, it includes a SERCOS interface alongside optional modules such as digital I/O cards, interface cards for measurement systems, and specialized interface cards. Firmware for the drive is sold separately. The drive controller boasts class C insulation and IP10 protection.
