HDS03.1-W100N-HT10-01-FW
The HDS03.1-W100N-HT10-01-FW is a modular digital drive controller in the HDS Drive Controllers series produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat. Within multi-axis motion platforms, this unit works alongside matching power supplies and servo drives to regulate torque, speed, and position of connected motors. In automated machining centers, packaging lines, and material-handling cells, the controller interprets command data from higher-level PLCs and translates it into precisely timed current pulses that energize the motor windings. This allows the drive to support coordinated axis motion where acceleration, deceleration, and position holding must remain stable under changing loads. Its control architecture allows adjustment of control loops and diagnostic parameters without mechanical modifications.
The primary communication channel is the SERCOS fiber-optic interface, so setpoints and feedback move on a deterministic ring at 2 or 4 Mbaud. Internally, the controller belongs to the DIAX04 family, so it shares backplane geometry and parameter structure with related modules. During continuous duty, the power stage supplies up to 100 A of motor current. Heat produced by the IGBTs is removed by a built-in air blower, allowing operation inside a sealed cabinet. The product is part of Line 03 in the series.
Within the modular cabinet, the unit mounts on common heat sinks used by the series, so DC bus links follow a standardized layout. As an HDS Drive Controller, it is intended to operate with separate power supply and interface modules in the same drive assembly. Control functions execute on the board, allowing the module to process command data and motor feedback inside the drive. The board-level control section handles drive logic within the module, while the cabinet system provides shared power distribution and cooling surfaces. The unit is Version 1.
