Produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, the HDS03.2-W075N-HS96-01-FW is part of the DIAX04 line of servodrives, specifically designed to control single AC motors. The HDS drives come in a flexible modular book format, thus allowing for their integration onto a single rack with a shared DC bus, which gets its power supply from a HVR or HVE power supply module. Communication with an external programmable logic controller (PLC) is possible through a built-in SERCOS protocol fieldbus card. The servodrive exhibits a power loss of around 11W while delivering the RMS current to the motor. The module maintains optimal operation in the temperature range of 32 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit and can sustain storage conditions between -22 to 188 degrees Fahrenheit. The software module facilitates easy configuration transfers between drives using a PC via the RS-232 or RS-485 socket. The drive incorporates a standard single-channel safe-torque-off (STO) function assuring performance Level d CAT 3 (EN 13849-1) and SIL 2.
