HDS03.2-W100N-HA25-01-FW
Bosch Rexroth Indramat builds the HDS03.2-W100N-HA25-01-FW as part of the HDS Drive Controllers series. The module is a standalone drive controller that occupies one slot of a motion rack and processes velocity and torque references for a connected servo axis. By converting command signals into regulated motor current, it supports synchronized positioning and speed control in material-handling cells, metal-cutting machines, and automated assembly stations where repeatability and short cycle times are important. The controller works as the drive stage for a servo axis, allowing the connected motor to respond smoothly during acceleration, deceleration, and steady-state operation.
For reference exchange, the unit uses an analog command channel, so a ±10 V input from the supervisory control directly sets the motor setpoint. The power section can supply up to 100 A of continuous current, supporting high-torque servomotors under full load and during sustained production duty. Heat is removed by a built-in air blower that pulls cabinet air across the finned heat sink and keeps internal components within their operating range. As part of the DIAX04 platform, the controller uses matching backplane connectors and can share a common DC bus with adjacent axes. This arrangement supports coordinated rack operation while keeping the reference input path straightforward.
The unit is part of Line 03 and Version 2. It connects to the common DC bus used in the rack, and keyed guide rails help prevent the module from being inserted into the wrong slot. This mechanical coding reduces the chance of polarity mismatches during installation and preserves the intended controller arrangement for the axis group. The layout also supports consistent module placement in multi-axis systems where neighboring slots are assigned to specific drive functions.
