The HDS04.2-W200N-HS72-02-FW is a modular drive controller from Bosch Rexroth Indramat in the HDS Drive Controllers series. It supplies regulated power to servo and spindle motors in automated assembly lines, packaging systems, and machining centers. The controller translates motion commands from higher-level controls into precise current output for each connected axis, so speed and torque can be matched closely to the needs of the machine. This makes it suitable for multi-axis systems that require stable motor control during positioning, acceleration, and continuous operation.
The controller exchanges setpoints and feedback over SERCOS fiber-optic rings, which provide deterministic timing for synchronized motion.
