The Bosch Rexroth Indramat Drive Controller, HDS04.2-W200N-HS87-01-FW, is built to utilize a shielded motor power cable to comply with the Class B standards of DIN VDE 0470-1 specifications. Connected to its control via optic fibers, it comes with components that require conductive packaging to shield against electrostatic discharge. For transportation, the use of shock-absorbing supports is recommended when possible, particularly with exposure to excessive vibration and shock. The controller, which supports vertical mounting with a motor connection at the bottom, should be installed at elevations lower than 1,000m. It can withstand temperatures between -30°C and 85°C and weighs 19kg.
