HVE02.2-W018
The HVE02.2-W018, produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is an essential component for operating the drive controller within the drive system. This device supplies control voltage to all connected controllers and provides control voltage via its DC bus voltage during power outages. It comes with monitoring functions communicating with drive controllers through the control voltage bus. Primarily used with 60 kW motors, the HVE02.2-W018 can work in generator mode, dissipating the regenerated energy as heat through a bleeder resistor. A compatible accessory is the CD bus choke GLD. With an IP 10 protection class, it must be situated in a control cabinet with sufficient cooling arrangements to avert a temperature rise beyond 45 degrees. It operates at 5 to 45 degrees and withstands storage and transport temperatures from -30 to 85 degrees. The input voltage, frequency, and maximum power load are 3 x 380 to 480 V, 50/60 Hz, and 500 VA respectively. To control and monitor motors, additional sensors and actors are required. It converts 3-phase AC voltage into unregulated DC bus voltage for linked drive controllers.
