The HVE03.1-W030N, a 2nd generation power unit produced by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, is a component of the modular AC drive system. It enables the operation of several drive controllers at once without necessitating additional power units. When used in generator mode, the HVE03.1-W030N dissipates regenerated energy as heat via a bleeder resistor. Its built-in power contactor ensures isolation of drive controllers from the power supply while maintaining voltage control for all connected controllers. This unit also monitors the drive system and can be paired with a DC bus choke GLD for optimum power usage adjustment. Designed to connect to a 3 x AC 380 to 480V mains voltage and motors of a maximum continuous mechanical power of 60 kW, this power unit has a distinct continuous bleeder power of 1.5 kW, peak bleeder power of 100 kW, and maximum regenerated energy of 100 kW. Weighing 16kg, it can function between 5 and 45 degrees Celsius, and up to an elevation of 1000 meters above sea level.
