The IC11050Q1TSC1 linear motor, produced by Kollmorgen, is an integral component in industrial applications particularly in electric plants and machinery. By eliminating the need for elastic elements, it significantly reduces production costs. The motor's design includes steel laminations in the coil assembly and caters to high acceleration applications, maintaining resilience under process force. However, due to the potential for high magnetic attractive forces, careful handling is important. Before mounting the components, power must be switched off. Correct installation involves mounting the coil assembly and encoder to the side part, with the magnet way positioned on the base part of the stage. Optimal installation also requires precision dowels for installation of multiple magnet assemblies. Offering two installation variations, ironcore multiple magnet plates and single magnet plate, the motor's input power ranges from 180 VAC to 260VAC.
