The Beckhoff IE2001-0000 digital output extension box from the IE Extension Box Units series by Beckhoff provides up to 8 channels of switching outputs with a nominal output voltage of 24 V DC (-15%/+20%). With robust IP65, IP66, IP67 protection per EN 60529, it ensures reliable operation in harsh industrial environments. Each output channel is individually short-circuit proof and supports a maximum continuous output current of 0.5 A with a typical short-circuit current rating of 1.5 A. Outputs are wired via M8 screw-type connectors, while the power supply connection uses one M8 4-pin male feed and one M8 4-pin female downstream socket. EMC compliance with EN 61000-6-2 and EN 61000-6-4 further enhances immunity to electrical noise, making the IE2001-0000 ideal for high-precision automation tasks.
