The Beckhoff IE3312-B520-0000 from the IE Extension Box Units series is a 4-channel analog input extension box designed for precise thermocouple measurements. It operates on 24 V DC and features a resolution of 0.1 °C per digit across four thermocouple inputs via M12 sockets. The module supports a measuring range of -100 °C to +1370 °C (type K) with a measurement accuracy of ±0.5% FS and offers configurable conversion times from 70–250 ms and five selectable input filters. Electrical isolation of 500 V between channels and control voltage ensures safety, while the unit meets EMC standards EN 61000-6-2/6-4 and vibration/shock standards EN 60068-2-6/2-27, delivering reliable performance in industrial environments.
