The KDA 3.2-150-3-A0S-W1, an innovative part of the Bosch Rexroth Indramat series, is a modular system for CNC machines, enabling users to customize based on particular requirements. This digital control unit, designed for Indramat asynchronous and frameless spindle motors, is equipped with a microcomputer continuously monitoring and adjusting rotor positions for precise responses at all speed ranges. It can be paired with other control units for enhanced CNC machine design flexibility. The unit is enhanced with a rear-mounted blower for efficient cooling, minimizing switch cabinet space utilization while extracting heat effectively. Operating with a 150A rated current and a 300V DC supply voltage, the unit allows real-time handling of preset parameters through its SERCOS interface. The adaption to the CNC machine is enabled by different parameters that can be entered on the built-in display or via a PC using SERCOS.
