The KDA1.1-100-300-W1-220V, a main spindle drive by Bosch Rexroth Indramat, comes with D-Sub connectors and depicts the ground connection of the associated motor. Installed using the M1-KD mechanical accessories kit, vertical mounting is required, facilitated by a heatsink blower which ensures forced cooling. It can operate motors up to 25 HP at the output shaft, supports four-quadrant operation and can run at 0 to 8000 rpm. Enhancing accuracy, the unit uses a microprocessor-based digital velocity loop, featuring high stability, stiffness and a power bridge to convert DC to three-phase power. An EEPROM memory-based programming module allows the unit to adapt to different motors. With a built-in microcomputer monitor and quality C-axis operation, the robustly-designed yet compact KDA1.1-100-300-W1-220V requires careful installation and maintenance, not recommended for user repair.
