The KL1164 from Beckhoff features four analog input channels and provides 500 V electrical isolation between K-bus and field potentials. Part of the KL Analog Input Modules, it supports a RS-485 interface, accepts 220-240 VAC input voltage, and handles a rated current of 15 A. The module uses 2-/3-wire connection technology, has an input current of 5 mA, and includes a 0.2 ms input filter.

Its compact enclosure measures 75 mm × 336 mm × 200 mm and draws a typical 8 mA from the K-bus. It accepts signal voltage ranges of 7.6–17.4 V for "0" and 0–7 V or 18–30 V for "1". The module operates at 50/60 Hz and utilizes digital PID control.
