The KL2404 from Beckhoff features four short-circuit proof outputs and supports a maximum current of 0.5 A. Part of the KL Analog Input Modules series, it operates on a nominal voltage of 24 V DC with a tolerance of -15% to +20% and provides reverse voltage protection.

Each channel limits short-circuit current to under 2 A and a breaking energy below 150 mJ, while drawing just 9 mA from the K-bus. The module is lightweight at approx. 70 g and rated for operation between -25 °C and +60 °C.
