The KL2531 from Beckhoff features a 24 V DC supply and a maximum output current of 1.5 A. Part of the KL Analog Input Modules series, it supports up to 125 kHz step frequency and approx. 5000 steps per revolution. This module handles uni- and bipolar 2-phase stepper motors with a current controller operating at approx. 25 kHz.

Diagnostic LEDs show phase errors, step loss and power status. Two end-position inputs sense motor limits. Operating temperature spans 0 to 55 °C.
