The Beckhoff KL5101-0000 is an incremental encoder interface in the KL Analog Input Modules series. It offers 1 encoder channel with a 16-bit counter and RS422 differential inputs (A, A (inv), B, B (inv), C, C (inv)), supports quadrature decoding up to 4× evaluation at 4,000,000 increments/s, and features a 24 V DC power supply with typical 60 mA consumption.
