The Beckhoff KL6041 module from the KL Analog Input Modules series is a robust industrial automation component manufactured by Beckhoff, offering high interference immunity and isolated signals for reliable data acquisition. Powered via the K-bus, this analog input module supports differential signal transfer at baud rates from 4800–115200 baud (default 9600 baud) in full or half duplex. It accommodates twisted-pair cables up to 1000 m with a line impedance of 120 Ω and features a 1024-byte receive buffer plus a 128-byte transmit buffer. Consuming typically 65 mA on the K-bus and rated for an operating temperature of –25 to +60 °C, it carries approvals including CE, UL, ATEX, IECEx and DNV GL, ensuring compliance and safety in harsh environments.
